Greetings!
The United Korean Community Association in the Philippines (UKCA) is once again coming up with our Annual Cultural Festival. Through the years, we have aimed to bring the Korean Community closer to its Filipino family here in the Philippines through the wonderful experience of cultural exchange.
In line with this event, we are now calling out to all who are interested (both Filipino and Korean) to participate in “The 20th Filipino-Korean Cultural Festival” which will be held on October 29, 2011 at the Aliw Theater – C. Sotto, CCP Complex, Pasay City. As always, we will be having the Cultural Exchange Competition which will be the main attraction of the said event. Koreans will have to perform a Filipino number (song or dance), and of course, the Filipinos should be able to present a Korean number.
We also have Speech Contest:
Filipino – Speaking Korean (Theme: Koreans / Korea that I Know)
Korean – Speaking Tagalog (Theme: Filipinos / Philippines that I know)
Eliminations will be held on October 15, 2011 10am at Makati Sports Club Leviste St., Salcedo Village Makati City.
